St. Luke’s aims to be a warm and welcoming “all age” faith community that is passionate about engaging with the people around us and the world we live in. We believe in kindness and faith in action! Worship services happen weekly on Sunday mornings, and monthly gatherings include Messy church for all ages, House church for the more intellectually minded person, and a mid-week service especially for folk who find it difficult to get to weekly Sunday services. Our community activities include helping newly arrived immigrants settle into the Geelong area; a well attended Mens’ Shed, open to all; and a monthly Repair Cafe organised by our Environment Action Group. We are also building our knowledge of Mental Health and Wellbeing, Through our Men’s Shed, Community garage sales and Refugee support, we’re able to ensure that furniture and goods otherwise destined for landfill are repaired in good order and distributed to people who arrive in Geelong with nothing but the clothes they wear. We welcome volunteers and the spiritually curious – anyone in search of a place to belong – if you’d like to chat to someone, please contact us on 5244 2997. Please take the time to explore our website and get to know us better.
