A one day retreat – Tuesday August 16, 2022

PROGRAM

SIF with purpose for purpose

Gather 9.30am for 10.00am start to 4.30pm close

Morning session 10.00am – 11.35am

  • Welcome
  • Stone soup worship – the SIF way

Morning tea and conversations during this morning session

  • Intentional conversations to reconnect – over two and a half years, SIF were unable to physically gather; let us regroup

Lunch time 11.40am – 12.40pm

Including free time before afternoon session

Afternoon session 1.00pm – 4.30pm

  • Your own stories your way (part one) – Ms Kelly Skilton, pastor, young adults advocate & Rev. Salesi Faupula, minister, Tongan Canterbury UC

Afternoon tea together

  • Your own stories your way (part two) – Rev. Prof. Monica Melanchthon, lecturer, Pilgrim & Rev. Dr. Jong Soo Park, SIF chair and minister, Camberwell UC
  • Thank you and a closing blessing – let the indigenous God spirit of the first nations peoples guide us onward
