A range of exciting workshops are being held to acknowledge our City’s clever, creative and inclusive community.

Workshops include ‘Body Mapping’, ‘Don’t Stare Be Aware Disability Awareness Training’, ‘Tree of Life’ and ‘Art, the NDIS and You’

Democracy sausage sizzle, cake stall and garage sale on Saturday 24th – election day

When you are voting this weekend, come along to the St Luke’s Uniting Church polling place (“Highton Central” as the VEC call it).

The Geelong Youth Choir will be running a sausage sizzle, St Luke’s will be running a cake stall and St Luke’s Men’s Shed will be running a garage sale.

Polling Day Cake Stall Saturday 24th November

St Luke’s is fortunate to be hosting a polling station at the up coming State election on November 24th.

On this day we will be holding a cake stall, and we need bakers!  Can you help?

Forms with ingredients lists, etc. are available are available in the Foyer from Isabel Tattersall or from the pigeonholes during the week.

Uniting Book Sale Fundraiser Friday 26th October

The month end book sale will be held on Friday 26th October at the Uniting Barwon Grovedale site (272 Torquay Road, cnr Reserve and Torquay Roads) between 10.00am – 2.00pm.

Plenty of old and new stock to browse through and all books are only $1.00!

FREE Disability Awareness Training Thursday 9th November

 Encompass Community Services is holding a FREE Disability Awareness Training session ‘DON’T STARE, BE AWARE’ on Thursday 9th Nov, 10am-11am.

If you or anyone you know is interested to participate in the session, please let us know by Friday 2nd November.

The session aims to promote disability awareness; and create more inclusive, accessible and diverse work environments.

This project is an initiative of Encompass; funded by Give Where You Live.
